If you are looking to get your kids active! We have a few programs which might help:
The AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS are delivered in Terms 1 and 4 in Kempsey.
The programs are delivered weekly for 8 weeks during the school term for 1 hours per lesson with a group of up to 10 children.
The SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS are a one day (3hrs) skills session held in both Kempsey (Kalateenee MTB Park) and Nambucca Heads (Jacks Ridge MTB Park).
Our programs have been operating for five years and during this time the majority of kids just LOVE to ride the trails and learn to JUMP. Whilst we do cover the basics and fundamental skills of mountain biking, we then get into the fun stuff of learning a new/different trail skills which is then tested on the trails. Yes, this does include a few different jump lines and drops.
MOUNTAIN BIKE PARTIES A different party idea! If your child loves riding their bikes, why not grab a group of their friends and go for a ride on the trails. We can customise a ride to suit any level, so let them loose on their mountain bikes with the Montem Team and sit back and relax for a couple of hours. If in Kempsey, give us a call at the Montem Hub Cafe (located at the Kempsey Golf Club) and we can look to cater for your birthday party, or you can just sit back and have a coffee and some time out whilst the kids are off riding.
Montem Bike Tours is an approved provider of the Active Kids Vouchers.
Parents, guardians and carers receiving Family Tax Benefit can apply for a Active and Creative Kids voucher for each eligible child.
The $50 voucher is available twice a year to use towards sport, creative and cultural activities, such as Mountain Biking!
Voucher 1 – 2024: Available from term 1
- Applications open: 1 February 2024
- Apply for and use the voucher by 31 December 2024
Voucher 2 – 2024: Available from term 3
- Applications open: 15 July 2024
- Apply for and use the voucher by 14 July 2025
How to use your Active Kids vouchers with Montem Bike Tours
- Download a copy of your voucher;
- Upon booking your program, let us know you have your voucher so we can adjust the cost and complete the redemption process. We will need a copy of your child’s Active Kids voucher number, and your child’s legal name and date of birth.
